Fluidity
So I’ve been downloading some cool themes for Blogsome, but I can’t install them because I don’t know php or something called smarty code which many in the blogosphere have determined is easier than php–”just convert the php to smarty code.” Okayyyyyyyyyy. Maybe I’ll just wait until things are easier or I have time to take the php class.
What I can do is mess with the stylesheet. And have I ever. This was the best look I could achieve. I like the fluid content width, but maybe it needs to be a little more narrow for a maximized window.

OOOOH! I like green!!
I also like clean, spare visuals, so good job! I have a keen appreciation for well-balanced white space. As for the width issue, I’d say that it partially depends on how much you want visitors to need to scroll down. I’ve been thinking of playing with the width of my own blog template to allow more text to be visible.
Oh, and nice little LibraryThing Widget! I see you have entered 2 books. Maybe you should get one of the CueCats so that you can enter many books quickly;-) I’m still messing around with some of my tags - some are conventional and some are just plain idiosyncratic examples of what my an undergrad roommate referred to as Katy-logic.
