Back in the Day
I got an iPod for my B-Day and I’ve been using it for runs and the ride to/from campus. Funny thing is–I’m not sure how long my runs are taking if I don’t wear a watch.
I spent many a morning of teen years doing a morning paper route (every one, actually)–waking up at 5am. My walkman(s) got me through much of it, especially listening to The Police. And I always knew how long the route took me by how many times I had to flip the tape.

I think it’s really good to have an ipod. The good thing is that all of your songs are in one place, instead of a thousand different CD’s. I don’t really see much bad about it at all.

My Nano has a stopwatch and clock available under the Extras menu. Yours might too?

My does have a clock and stopwatch. I hadn’t dug that deep into the thing, yet. But I’m still waxing nostalgically for flipping a tape . . . and when the pitch of Stings voice drops because the batteries are dying.
